I was invited to do a project in Lisbon on the famous Altarpiece of San Vicente whose authorship is unknown. As Woolf ventured to say that anonymous was a woman, I set out to show that this altarpiece was painted by a painter`s workshop and thus demonstrate that his theory was true. After a long investigation I found the heiress artists of the workshop in which he had painted in the golden century of Portuguese painting. The descendants of the famous line of artists are still working. Today they sign with their names.
